About Jax Irwin: Originally from Canada’s East Coast, award winning broadcast host Jax Irwin has called Toronto home for nearly a decade. Jax has been heard in multiple major cities over the years, including as co-host of Virgin Mornings on 99.9 Virgin Radio. Expanding her role from behind the microphone to in front of the camera, she has been seen regularly on CTV’s The Social, Your Morning and CTV News. As a member of and advocate to the LGBTQ2S+ community, Jax has made it her mission to challenge stereotypes and promote inclusion in the broadcast industry.
Beyond radio and television, you can find her in the online creator space – applying a distinctive combination of heart and humour to all of her projects. She has teamed up with Paramount+, Adidas, TD Insurance, McDonald's and more to create unique influencing campaigns.
She currently co-hosts on the social media channel “Adam Wylde & Jax” - which can be found on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. Jax is a Allan Waters Young Broadcaster Award nominee, a Canadian Radio Awards jury member, and was featured in Flare’s #HowIMadeIt campaign. Throughout her career, Jax has maintained commitments to various community endeavors, working alongside CAMH, The 519, SickKids Foundation and Toronto Pride.
