We’re excited to share an opportunity to volunteer with Girls on the Run Chicago! We’re looking for volunteers on Saturday, May 9th in Grant Park (6–11 AM) to support Girls on the Run Chicago at their Spring 5k.
This inspiring event brings together nearly 8,000 participants: including girls, running buddies, coaches, site liaisons, and volunteers, to celebrate the completion of the Spring season.
Volunteers support the event by helping at stations such as activities, aid stations, bus greeting, and the finish line. No running is required.
How to sign up:
1. Register through NextUp to receive communications about the event!
2. Complete the Spring 2026 Girls on the Run Chicago 5k Volunteer Registration form (you'll receive this after you register)
3. On the third page, under Additional Information, select Other from the dropdown menu, then type in your group name (NextUp Chicago)
Please register by EOD on Thursday, April 30.
