About the Speaker: Erin Patel spent fifteen years in consumer packaged goods, spanning shopper insights, category management, and retailer analytics. She transitioned to higher education in August 2023, where she now teaches Marketing and Applied Analytics and Visualization at Winthrop University. She is finalizing her doctorate (class of 2027) at West Virginia University. Her doctoral dissertation examines what makes category management behavior distinct from other functions and how organizations can plan for future success in a rapidly changing big-data landscape.
