Tools:
- Rocks Glass for enjoying your cocktail in
- Mixing glass (cocktail tin or mason jar with lid)
- Stirring spoon (can be teaspoon)
- Peeler
- Strainer
- Muddler (can be an ice cream scoop, spoon, anything you can smash the lemon and mint with)
Gold Rush
- 1 oz Makers Mark
- 1 oz Basil Hayden’s
- I oz fresh lemon juice
- 1 oz honey syrup (syrup: 2:1 honey to water, heated and stirred to make a syrup)
- Shake, serve in a Rocks glass over Ice, garnish Lemon Wheel
Old Fashioned
- Tablespoon or cube of sugar
- Angostura bitters
- 2 oz Basil Hayden’s bourbon
- Ice
- Lemon and/or orange peel
- Build in rocks glass, stir, garnish citrus peels
Whisky Smash
- 3-4 sprigs of fresh mint
- ¼ lemon, cut into 2 or 3 pieces

NEW takes the safety of our community very seriously. This is especially the case during the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. The information below details adjustments we have made or considerations around our planned in-person events.
The Network of Executive Women will not be hosting any live events through Labor Day, 2020 (at a minimum) and both of our national conferences have been shifted to virtual. The criteria we continue to evaluate includes clarity around mitigated health risk for large events and gatherings, stay-at-home orders ending in all states, and employees of our partner organizations being at liberty to participate in large gatherings.

At any gathering, whether an informal or formal program, national or regional event, participants must abide by the Network of Executive Women anti-trust policy.
